If you've read my previous post then you know that my boyfriend and I recently spent the night at the luxurious hotel and spa Stobo Castle. Whilst there we had dinner, breakfast and lunch. I took pictures of everything I ate and I'm here to share those pictures with you now. I know that people of my generation get made fun of for taking pictures of their food but honestly I love it. I love seeing what people have eaten. I've no idea why!
My boyfriend and I stayed for one night at Stobo Castle to celebrate our five year anniversary and we had a great time!
In my opinion the exhibits are more interesting than those found in The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh but the Kelvingrove isn't as well looked after. The interactive exhibits were broken when I arrived, I noticed lots of empty displays and things like peeling labels gave the place a bit of a run down feel. I took some pictures of the displays I found most interesting and thought I'd share them here.
One of the perks of being a teacher is the school trips. It can be an afternoon off to a farm or even two weeks on another continent. Usually for free or heavily discounted but that's not important. It's for the good of the kids. Recently I attended a school trip to Alton Towers Theme Park in Stoke-on-Trent. The bus journey from Scotland took us around 8 hours including our stops at service stations.
My home town of Edinburgh is a beautiful beautiful place. There are so many things to do and see in the city that I could write, and probably will, a hundred different blog posts on the subject. One such thing you can do in Edinburgh is have a whole day full of Harry Potter sights and experiences. I popped into town today and had a go at doing just that.
